Qi: Mobile charging empowered

Wireless charging of smartphones and other portable consumer devices has been transformed by Qi. Initially launched in 2010, there are over 11,000 Qi Certified products in the market today, setting a new global benchmark for safety, efficiency and interoperability. Qi v2.0, the latest generation of the Qi standard, is taking wireless charging to the next level and unifying the world under one global standard.

Certified for excellence

Certified for excellence

To be Qi Certified, products undergo rigorous testing for safety and interoperability in one of our independent authorized testing laboratories before being granted permission to use the Qi or Qi2 logo. Only Qi Certified products can display the Qi or Qi2 logo, a reassurance of safety and interoperability. In short, that your devices will work just as expected.

Introducing Qi2

More efficient, faster, more compatible
More efficient, faster, more compatible

The Qi v2.0 standard will unify the wireless charging industry under one global standard, eliminating consumer confusion and enabling greater device interoperability. Foremost among the devices coming to market under the Qi v2.0 standard are those labeled Qi2. Qi2 devices feature Magnetic Power Profile technology which aligns devices and chargers perfectly for improved energy efficiency, faster charging, and easier usability. Qi2 products can be identified by a Qi2 logo on the device or packaging.

Sustainable

Worn out cables and broken charging ports are two of the most common quality issues with smartphones, requiring either new charging cables or new phones. Qi v2.0 is a wireless charging standard so there are no cables to wear out or mechanical stress on charging ports, reducing waste in landfills.
